70% of population in Nairobi lives in slums where life expectancy is ten years below the average. a kid is more at risk of dying before reaching the age of five: 10% of them dies because is underfed and another 40% dies for HIV/AIDS related desease. The number of Kenyan orphan due to AIDS is 1.200.000.
The NGO Intersos is working with the Kenian NGO Wofak to fight HIV AIDS in the Slums of Nairobi.
