Darfur Refugees in Ciad

The reportage was shot in the eastern border of Ciad where IDP and refugees from Darfur were dislocated  as consequences of attacks and distructions of village of non arab population during the past years by Janjaweed  militia. The dramatic accounts of events all tell the same story, proof of the fact that the conflict raging in this part of Sudan has systematically targeted the civilian population. To escape the violence, some 2.2 million people have left their villages to seek refuge in safe areas in the interior or moved to neighbouring Ciad.  Djabal and Goz Beida (eastern Ciad) are the villages where  Ngo’s as well as UN agencies are involved in projects for sustaining the victims of this long time conflict.
